Our matelasse baby quilt is one of our best sellers. Softly quilted with a scalloped edge, this blanket is perfect for baby’s room, toddler nap time, or as a play mat. Matelassé is French for “quilted” or “cushioned” and is meant to mimic the style of hand-stitched Marseilles-style quilts made in France. Our matelasse quilt is 36″ x 47″. It is 100% cotton and machine washable on the gentle cycle for ease and comfort.
Our matelasse quilt may be personalized with a name or monogram for a truly one-of-a-kind gift. If the name hasn’t been revealed yet, consider personalizing with the family last name with a thread color that matches everything, like yellow, grey, or green. (We recommend the white quilt for this occasion.)
