About The Initial Design
The Initial Design was established in 2004, with the mission of offering high-quality gifts and personalization on curated and customer-provided items. We strive to offer items that are perfect for celebrating life’s special moments, including birthday, baby, wedding and holidays. Gift personalization comes in the form of stitched monograms, heat

About the Owner
In January 2020, Lorraine Brazile purchased The Initial Design and became the store’s fifth, and current, owner. As a shop customer for many years, Lorraine experienced firsthand the quality and uniqueness of The Initial Design. When it was time for the previous owner to sell, Lorraine jumped at the chance to further the shop’s legacy and add her own touch to the shop’s brand by expanding the gift offerings and preserving the in-house personalization focus.
