Order Turnaround Timing
For orders for pick-up, our turnaround time is 1 week. For delivery, all items will be shipped in 7-10 days. If you need your order shipped sooner than our normal processing times, please let us know by calling our store at 314-968-8300 and we will be happy to work with you to expedite your order. However, we cannot change an order to rush status once it has been placed. If the item has already been ordered with the manufacturer, we cannot refund the purchase due to delivery issues. Orders placed after 12:00 p.m. Central Time, over the weekend or on holidays will be processed the next business day. If the items are in stock, we expect to ship your order within 7-10 business days after your order is processed.
Return Exchange Policy
The Initial Design is committed to excellent customer service & satisfaction. We check each item prior to shipment to ensure that it is free of defect. Because items cannot be returned or exchanged once they have been personalized, we ask you to please double check all spelling and dates prior to submitting your order. In the unfortunate event that there is a product defect or an error due to a monogramming error made by the Initial Design, we will either replace the item in question immediately or offer you a full refund of the purchase price excluding shipping charges.
Items that have not been personalized may be returned for an exchange or merchandise credit within 10 days of receipt. Merchandise may be returned by mail or to our retail store in Webster Groves, MO.
We currently accept Mastercard, Visa, & Discover.
Prices are subject to change without notice. We apologize in advance for any errors on the website (pricing or availability). We make every effort to keep the website updated but may sell out of an item before we can update the site. If this does occur, we will notify you within 24 hours to give you approximate ship dates of the back ordered items, or give you the option to cancel the order.
Shipping and Sales Tax
We ship most purchases within the Continental United States via UPS and the USPS. Specific options and rates beyond the US can be offered by calling our store 314-968-8300.
As a Missouri-based business, we are required to collect sales tax on all orders shipped to addresses within Missouri, at the rate of 8.475%. We collect sales tax on the total amount of your purchase, which includes the price of items purchased, and any service charges such as monogramming, or engraving. We do not charge sales tax on out-of-state shipments but we suggest that you check with your state's tax laws regarding internet purchases.
Order Cancellation and Changes
To cancel or change an order, call 314-968-8300 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will make every effort to accommodate you, although we cannot guarantee that we can cancel or change an order once it has gone into production.
